Sayonara Manish!

Some people are destined to meet and so were we. The first meeting with this guy was really interesting and pleasantly surprising. Standing next to me and Rohan bhaiya in a food court in Infy, he was talking to his friend. I overheard some words: “It’s awesome” ,  “full of fun” , “very nice”, “workshop”. I got interested to listen further to this conversation as generally people talk like this about “Yes!+” only. I told Rohan bhaiya that it seems a Yes!+ intro talk is going on here. After some time we heard this word “Yes!+” J. Then Rohan bhiaya  asked this guy – “Are you talking about Yes!+ course of The Art of Living?” And this is how this guy called Manish met our shores and hearts..

Yaaran di yaari...!
And then began the journey of those fights and PJs which we used to hurl at each other with all the love (especially with Gunjan_Arora02 ;) ), crocodile spikes and so many new lifetime friendships….In those initial days I sometimes used to stay in his hostel room when I didn’t have a bike to go back home late night from office. Once he waited for me for more than 6-7 hours with a very high fever. Incidentally, his hostel room key was with me and he kept on calling my office landline (which does not have an incoming facility) instead of my mobile. And after all this wait, sooooo humbly he says, “Koi baat ni yaar..no issues.” J

Then one day, when Chaithanya and I were looking for someone to share our nest, Manish calls and asks me if he can stay in our house. And thence he became our roommate and the JJ Cottage maintained the legacy of having been occupied by awesome people always ;)

Then, this buck never stopped till he got it. The determination with which he studied and made me also study for CAT was really superb. Truly speaking most of my studies for CAT, last year happened just by solving his doubts.

Unforgettable to mention the excel macros which I wrote for him in office which had funny function names like Public function check_madi () [“madi” in kannada means “do”], which he delivered as it is and it came back to him to change the function names J. Only Manish and I know the jugaads that we have done in those macros to somehow make them work. ;)

And the best part is that all this fun was always accompanied by seva (service). The help he has provided to transport all the Infy trainee souls to the So-Hum stations (Yes!+ course venues) through his car, his taking all the pain to make people dance (for flashmob for Yogathon) and helping the organizing of courses in many other ways, is simply cool.

Sayonara dude!
Keep loving! Keep rocking!
May Guruji’s grace keeps flowing on you always like that! Jgd!
The next Yes!+ family awaits you in Pune!

Aaaaaaaaaeeeeeee….
Love,
Parveen
